Europe's largest counterblow hammer.

At its Piedmont site, which specializes in closed-die forging, Siderforgerossi Group operates Europe’s largest counterblow hammer to produce forged components exceeding one metre in length or diameter.
Closed-die forging reduces finish machining requirements, lowering energy consumption and material waste.
In Italy, the department is equipped with three 32,000 kgm counterblow hammers, one 50,000 kgm hammer and one 63,000 kgm hammer, a 14,000 t robot-served screw press, a heat treatment department, a laboratory and a machine shop for component finishing and die manufacturing. The Group also provides product engineering.
